How does it function?

How to use
By choosing your nation from the drop-down menu at www.chevening.org/apply, you can submit an application for a Chevening Scholarship. Your application will be examined in light of Chevening’s qualifying requirements after submission. Independent reading committees will evaluate the applications that are deemed eligible and compile a longlist of candidates.
If your name is on the short list, you will receive an invitation to a job interview with the British embassy or high commission in the nation where you applied. A panel will question you during these in-person interviews in English about your career and personal objectives, as well as how a Chevening Scholarship can help you get there. Your academic preferences will also be taken into account. The board will next evaluate your interview in light of the overall Chevening requirements.
What is the application deadline?
Chevening Scholarship applications for 2022–2023 are now closed. The names of those who are chosen will be released in June 2022. If you are one of them, your studies in the UK will start in September or October 2022.
